There are four main reasons for the increase in the oil temperature of the planetary gearbox gears:
First, the viscosity is high. The heat transmission effect of the high viscous oil itself is not good, and the heat dissipation of oil products with higher viscosity is difficult. The temperature rise will significantly reduce the viscosity of the oil. Therefore, when selecting the appropriate load level, try to use gear lubricants with low viscosity.
Second, overload. Planetary gearbox load is too large, oil film rupture, easy to occur direct wear, failure. The friction between the teeth is large and the wear is serious, resulting in an increase in the surface temperature. Therefore, to weigh the pros and cons, according to the load situation to choose the appropriate viscosity grade or load level of oil, avoid stepping on lightning. The selection of extreme gear oils and high viscosity oils is indeed beneficial for lubrication, but there are also adverse effects of poor thermal dissipation.
Third, the run-in period. The new gearbox, as it takes a period of time to run more in harmony with the machine. Just as a new person joins a new team, there is always a run-in period, which is different – the equipment has not yet entered the regular use phase, there has been greater wear and tear, resulting in the planetary gearbox flank temperature rise, drive gear oil temperature rise, it is true that this temperature rise is the normal use of the equipment must go through the stage, after which the machine will return to normal state. However, the first oil change time of the new gearbox is short, and the abrasive can also be taken out by changing the oil.
Fourth, the amount of oil is very large. Too much refueling before starting, resulting in too high oil level, thus affecting the normal cooling of the planetary gear reducer gear. Note: Too much or too little refueling can affect cooling.
