Precision planetary gearboxes are another term for planetary reducers in the industry.
Industry insiders know that the planetary reducer is a high-precision gearbox, can be said to be the most sophisticated decelerator at this stage. But why can’t other gearboxes do the precision of planetary gearboxes? Why are planetary reducers so precise?
Its main transmission structure is: planetary wheel, solar wheel, inner ring of teeth.
Compared with other gearboxes, precision planetary gearboxes are characterized by high rigidity, high accuracy (up to 1 minute for a single stage), high transmission efficiency (97%-98% for a single stage), high torque/volume ratio, and lifetime maintenance-free. Most are mounted on stepper and servo motors to reduce speed, lift torque, and match inertia.
Planetary gear reducer is also known as planetary gearbox, servo gearbox. In the family of reducers, planetary gearboxes are widely used in servo motors, stepper motors, DC motors and other transmission systems because of their small size, high transmission efficiency, wide deceleration range and high precision. Its function is to reduce the speed increase torque and reduce the inertia ratio of the load/motor under the premise of ensuring precision transmission.
